Students Intervarsity Games- April, 2012

The 11th Students Intervarsity Games, which united more than 600 sportsmen and volunteers, were held at the base of World Academy of Sambo in the town of Kostovo of Nizhegorodsky region.
On the verge of Summer Olympic Games students of 7 Russian Universities – Volgograd State Medical University, Kursk State medical University, Moscow Aviation Institute, Nizhniy Novgorod State medical Academy, Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU), State Marine Technical University and Moscow State Medical University (MSMU) participated.
The NNSMA team- the host of the Games, became the overall champion. The MSMU team claimed second place, winning 5 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Lowell Chai, a member of MSMU team, was awarded the title of Best Sportsman 2012.
